On Our Way

We sit in the Summit Inn Pancake House as I post this. As this is located at Snoqualmie Pass instead of Rainy Pass this requires an explanation for those following along.

Cindy is not as agile as she once was. Traversing the steep slopes of the North Cascades, even with the snow level down to 1-2 feet, is only for the surreal of foot. We’re starting a little farther south in our hike to the border. Bill Perry will still pick us up at Manning Park and return us to our starting point, now Snoqualmie Pass, on July 3rd.

For those kind souls wanting to send us a care package along the way this does not change anything. The schedule south from Snoqualmie Pass remains the same.

Now for a few pancakes to start our first day!
