Day 253 – 2/1/12 – Funny Stuff

Wyandotte to Lanesville; Distance = 19.5 Miles; People Met = 6

We started the day in Stephenson’s General Store for a little bit more Internet work.  There we met John Nelson and Cal Karr, two guys on a road trip after allegedly being “chased out by our wives.”  They were both from Michigan, working as baykeepers in the Great Lakes area.  They were funny guys.

Speaking of funny, some days the odd photo ops just keep coming.  As we hiked through Corydon and on to Lanesville we did several double takes.  While the emphasis of this blog is usually on people, I’ll save a blurb on Frank and Annetta Price at the end of the day for tomorrow.  For today I simply present for you a different sort of photo gallery.

You know times are tough when .....

I wonder what this household prefers for entertainment

In need of a live audience to "knock 'em dead"

Victim of an idiot trophy hunter

I'd locate my business elsewhere

Wow! Tough coach!

      Greetings Paula,
Thanks for dropping in! Whenever I take someone’s picture I usually make a joke about “are you running from the law?” with the idea that their picture may be on the Internet soon. I thought that Bob and Nicole knew their pictures could be on the Internet. If I failed at communicating that I apologize. I hope it’s alright. If not, I can remove the picture. Please let me know.
      Kirk
