The Kindness of Strangers for Carolyn Russell

This report on the kindness of strangers captures the essence of kindness as an empathic response rather than a premeditated movement.  It also hints at kindness not being for people consumed by security.

The Micah Hike

I’m toying with the idea of changing the title of the book about our American Discovery Trail to “The Micah Hike.”  Micah 6:8 states:  “Do justice; love kindness and walk humbly with your God.”  There are parts of the book that encourages us to “do justice” in regards to Housing, Health and Hunger.  Other parts describe the kindness we witnessed across the country.  Other parts describes the learning involved in walking humbly across the country.  Let me know if you like the new title or not. Whether I stick with old or go with the new title, here is Chapter 11:  Chance Encounters.
