The American Bear Project
American Bear is a documentary about traveling for 60 days relying on the kindness of strangers for places to stay. In the words of the social media director for the project:
More than simply just getting people to see the film, the American Bear team truly aims to inspire a campaign of kindness, which we do on our website.
In particular, they have a “Your Voice” page on their website where they invite people to share their stories. I’ve been invited to provide an entry in the near future, but I thought this is worth alerting you to right now.
Responsive Kindness in Greenville
A fire led Don and Jeanie Stanly to express their thanks to their friends and neighbors, along with the fire and police departments. For me this is reminiscent of our encounter with trail angel Taralyn Roderick.
