Days 266-267 – 2/14-15/12 – Convent of the Transfiguration

People Met = 12+

We spent four days and five nights at the Convent of the Transfiguration near Cincinnati.  This was a connection made from our stay with Pastors Cynthia and Nancy at the Emmaus Order of Pilgrims in Mt. Vernon, Indiana.  We could see how the Convent provided inspiration for the Order they were developing.

These two days of our stay were spent entirely at the Convent, during which I spoke to Sister Teresa about the Sisters of the Transfiguration.  Listen to how they pursue their motto, which includes kindness as a centerpiece.

We gave two talks on Wednesday, one to the Bethany School located at the Convent, one to the Sisters.  Both were enthusiastically received.  The students asked many questions and even clapped during my performance of empathy.
